history

In the early 1980's Mr. Carlo Cipriani started Cipriani Corporation to import and sell sanitary stainless steel process valves and fittings to the U.S. hygienic processing sectors. During the 1980's and 1990's Cipriani Corporation began to grow and expand throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Since they were not the manufacturer, Cipriani Corporation found it difficult to meet the stringent requirements of the U.S. processors.

Around the same time that Mr. Carlo Cipriani was growing his business in the United Sates, Mr. Jagrut Bhatt, an engineer from India, was building a business of his own. Mr. Bhatt's company was called Harrison Engineers and its focus was on manufacturing stainless steel components and processing valves, such as dairy stem valves. Mr. Bhatt proved successful in making reliable valves for the Indian dairy market, but looked for a way to expand his business and grow his expertise.

Fate brought Mr. Cipriani and Mr. Bhatt together during the early 1990's and they knew immediately they were meant to be partners. With the sales and marketing know-how of Mr. Cipriani and the engineering and manufacturing capabilities of Mr. Bhatt they formed a new company together called - Cipriani Harrison Valves, a culmination of many years of detailed engineering and technical experimentation. A new business dedicated to producing the highest quality sanitary process valves and flow systems the world has ever seen. From this early partnership grew a global organization catering to the food, dairy, pharmaceutical, wine, beer, cosmetic and other related hygienic processing industries.
